We booked our tickets online and went with the county tickets simply because of better toilets! Plus who doesn’t love dressing up even though it was cold so couldn’t see my pretty dress!

It was an early start as Adam likes to meet up with his dad & brother so they can go for breakfast.

We made our way to Haydock park for a day of racing. The entry I won’t lie isn’t the widest!

Now for me I can’t see in the main areas thankfully there’s a wheelchair spot which gives such a great view, it’s often only one or two people on the platform too.

My favourite part though is going to the winners encloser and seeing all the horses both before and after the race. They are such beautiful animals and are so looked after.

I was surprised to see Sir Alex at the races! I just wasn’t expecting him to have horses run! I tell you now I’ve not seen him as happy as he was in a while! He was kind enough to allow us a picture with him and told other fans to wait while I had mine taken! What a gracious guy he is!

For me coming home and having ole cuddles is the best after a long day!

Next up Glasgow & the book of Mormons!
