Hi guys!
I can’t believe there’s only going to be two more to write after this from the premier league season, it’s been a long season & I hope you have enjoyed reading along!
Let’s just start from pulling up and parking! Poor Jamie had a migraine yesterday and it wasn’t wanting to shift, but he carried on the best he could!
I’d been chatting to Neil who was predicting a win 2-0 for the reds! He’s an optimistic lad and has been all season saying that he’s had a few corrected scores! Me & Adam had been chatting too and just like Neil he was optimistic of a reds victory 4-0! However I went with a draw 1-1 I thought most likely with the top 4 race still being in play!
I met up with Andy outside for a chat about next week, Huddersfield away, I am looking forward to that, no really I am as it’s the last away of the season so likely the last chance to see some of my mates until August!
I briefly saw Helen and said I’d see her at Cardiff as one of the lads were coming down to see me at HT, I also had a lovely long chat with Ann Marie about her carpet & new wallpaper!
I caught up with our DLO too as needed to ask something and then Jamie got his picture took with the air hostesses that were at the match .. I’m not really sure why they were there, but it cheered Jamie & Lenny up!
Then it was match time … I was so chuffed to see Ander In the team, I hope he stays but if he is leaving I’ll miss my favourite Basque man! Juan mata opened the scoring and it was his birthday so equally chuffed for the nicest man in football!
Half time arrived and off Jamie went to see his dad & Shay. I stayed in my seat as Adam was coming down! He came on the platform and went again, even though I was shouting!
But .. he came back! We had such a lovely chat for 15 minutes conversation flowed easily, although he was absolutely hammered! He was a little baffled at me saying I didn’t buy programs … I do keep my match day stubs from aways though!
As the Chelsea players came out & Jamie returned, Adam shook Jamie’s hand .. didn’t say bye to me though, the git! As he was leaving bare in mind he was intoxicated he started chanting loudly “Chelsea rent boys” arm to full extension! I’m going to say he missed 5 minutes of the second half! However it was lovely to see Adam at the match!
The game ended 1-1 .. my prediction was right!
I saw Helen as she was leaving to say goodbye! Before I knew it we was on our way to the car to head home!
For some reason the child lock had been knocked off and we hadn’t realised! So we was driving along when suddenly the car door was opened .. bare in mind we was on the m56 doing 70mph (thankfully my rear doors are sliding ) I think I went into shock after screaming i couldn’t stop laughing! Thankfully we managed to shut the door and pull over and then put the child lock back on! Never a dull moment with me around!
We got home pretty early really! There’s only 2 games left with Huddersfield where I am hoping to catch up with Neil & others and then Cardiff where I’ll see the girls and Ben I might even bake a cake for my pals!
