Hey guys!
Waking up at 5.30am and I tell you I woke up every hour that night I was feeling so unsettled, I’m not sure why! It was time to head home!
Now we had booked a taxi for 7.15am as we wanted to get to the airport with good amount of time!
We was down In reception at 7am and left at 7.05am with some how a 12 euro standing charge … we left early WTF!
The trip was long and we ended up In a rolling road block due to a car breaking down, it was not my day! I have to say though I enjoyed the almost high 5 with the taxi driver at one point as we both cheered “si si” that was an absolute highlight! After an hour an 20 mins we rocked up at Costa Brava airport LOL! Then the £174 taxi payment, I nearly cried but on a plus I’d never been to the Costa Brava before, this trip was quite the adventure!
We had a hot drink before checking my wheelchair in and then headed to assistance! Who gladly helped. Omg security was a nightmare! I went through with no issue even kept my water and chatting to the security officer in Spanish! However my travel buddy wasn’t as lucky! First the shoes off … then the belt it took an age eventually they let him through, I was quite happy chatting and keeping Adam up to date with what was going on!
We had a look in the duty free and then food for my travel companion then it was time to get on that plane home! I fell asleep and woke up in Bristol!
Bristol was a nightmare as per leaving on Monday! Eventually reaching arrivals it was time to head home, although first a flat tyre had to be sorted for my travel buddy!
Before long I was back home my brother had got me some essentials in and I saw my dog and the cats were pissed of as always to see me, how dare I leave them!
That brings an end to my Barcelona trip & travels In Europe with Man Utd for 18/19 season it’s been quite the adventure and keep your eyes peeled for my run down of this seasons European adventures!
I am however hoping for more travel blogging over the summer!
Next match day blog out is Man City at home!
