Hey!
The morning after the night before! My last full day In Barcelona and it was time to hit that city!
Now Barcelona is great it’s roads are long and a couple of main roads just as long as you don’t go the wrong way of course!
I decided to set off down towards La ramble for a look at the shops & the other cathedral!
As we went towards Le Ramble a kind local told us a quicker way than we was going, so we followed his instructions and kept on walking! We eventually hit the shopping district and if you know me you’ll know it’s my favourite district! However I didn’t go in my fav shops, Zara Europe is my absolute favourite! Anyway I get distracted! We eventually came to a sign that directed us to the other cathedral or le ramble! At this point I thought ah let’s just carry on and come back as we are returning to hotel later!
After a drink was had we carried on walking darting in & out of some of the little souvenir shops a long the way and the tourist info, I’ve no idea why I went in there either!
Eventually we ended up by the harbour and decided to go over the bridge, it was wonderful with the sun shinning to! We took a look in the shopping area! Then it was time for more food & drink … a jug of sangria later! Next stop was ice cream of course!
Then heading back over the bridge, we stopped to watch the bridge move to allow a boat to leave, I enjoyed that! I took some pics of the harbour to!
Then we headed over In search of the beach! Walking passed loads of “blanket sellers” you can get a fine for buying off them according to signs in the area! We finally reached the beach and of course picture to be taken and then walking along the beach with the sun it was just lovely!
We walked (we’ll wheeled) to the next harbour along taking pics and then it was time for more drinks! Before the long wheel back! We ended up stopping for food and more 2 Pinter glasses of Sangria!
We ended up meeting with friends to so had a good chat and a few laughs talking about the night before and walking up to the Hard Rock Cafe!
We ended up having to get a lift as it was a step entrance but the lift wasn’t working so used the step platform lift! We then met up with friends! After a while we left with a pin from our trip! Back in the lift and apparently will go down but not up!
We then got very lost, which at this point was funny it was dust we was lost in a foreign city and then we found our selves .. we was closer to the Nou Camp than the hotel so a good 3 mile walk!
We eventually made it back to the hotel for more drinks in the bar and then time to sleep as it was time to head home!
