It’s back to Paris blogs today and we are looking at hotels today!
Now the first thing I’d say is sign up to hotel sights, you can collect points towards future bookings & get member discounts on rooms!
Now what I tend todo is focus on my main reason for my trip and in this case it’s football, therefore my ideal location is near the stadium as then it’s in walking / wheeling distance of stadium.
Next step is to search what hotels are in the area and which I have an account with, then I go for cheapest hotel that meets my criteria!
Sometimes of course I have my favourite hotels and I just go there!
Always book direct if you can as you’ll often find you save some money but use comparison sights to narrow down your search!
Paris March 2019
I used my Accord hotel account to book my hotel and got a % off because I’m a member and some perks like early check in free of charge etc.
I’m staying around 650meters from the stadium with Roland Garros close by as well.
This hotel suits me well although I’ll have to get a taxi into central Paris that’s not too bad as I’d rather be close to the stadium for after the match than centrally struggling to get transport back into Paris afterwards.
Next week I’ll be looking at transport in Paris along with best way to carry euros!
