Morning   all,
Well here we are the last day of 2018 and it’s time for a review, I have absolutely no idea where to start!
From a personal point it’s been one hell of a ride this past year with my health, friends, football and just about everything in between, what a ride it has been! Last year I wanted to travel more and I did, yay, more on the to follow! 2018 has had many highs & lows and lots of fun added into the mix. I’ve good solid friends that I’ve not felt I’ve had a for a while and that’s really special to me, wether they be far away or close by it doesn’t matter together we have great memories! I’ve also cut down on my use of some social media, it’s helped me!
Health
What can I say about my health this year it’s been pretty shit but in some respects I’ve changed my mind set and adapted better to life as a wheelie I don’t feel ashamed and I’m glad it enables me to see the world & my football!
I started wearing glasses again! It’s been really strange and I’ve been reluctant to wear them but I’ve become more confident when wearing them and seeing people, plus it enables me to see the other side of the pitch!
My eating battle has been just that a battle, I had a steady gain and now it’s dropping again. But I’m still battling that demon, I won’t let you win Mr Food!
My heart, I finally meet my new cardiologist, my first time with a female cardiac specialist! Always had men previously! I was happy to say goodbye & see you in two years! The heart is good, it’s doing what it should, beating!
My rheumatoid, has been terrible! I’m learning to adapt to how it affects me differently! My right shoulder well to be blunt it doesn’t function any more, but its still there! There’s been some dark days where I’ve had to cancel things, cried ,any tears due to pain but it hasn’t beaten me over all in 2018!
My mental health. Well I’ll be blunt it has not been good this year at times but I’m learning new strategies and reaching out for help from professionals and being honest with friends when things aren’t good, less holding it in, more letting the tears flow, a battle but one I will continue to fight!
General health, well that’s not been the best I’ve had everything from tonsillitis to flu and a large amount of chest infections! But we fight on, my immune system isn’t the best but overall I could have been a lot sicker with going to football!
