This is so strange to be sat writing a blog again!
It’s the last day of May 2020 and we’ve been in shielding lockdown since mid March, honestly we are tired, fed up & not sure what todo! I’ve honestly been so touched by friends & strangers of Salford for the kindness shown! Firstly my mate Andy who got me Calpol which helps maintain my pain at night, Gary who did us a shop, my cousin who got us a Sainsbury’s delivery in the early days, to Ben for doing my pharmacy drop off & to Andy for helping us out! Along with many others who have helped out.
I’ve been touched by the kindness of strangers too Val & Rosie In particular. Rosie has helped us out with pet stuff, prescriptions & countless shopping when things were needed.
The new people I’ve met too during this time who are going through the same, to Gina, Sue, Andrea, Tori, Lara & Christine.
It’s been hard though the mental side particularly has been hard with anxiety & depression high. The physical side has brought a huge flare up which has not been easy to handle sleeping little and pain high.
The hardest is missing my family & my friends & football.
I’m going to carry on shielding until June 30th & then see where I go from there.
My next blog is going to be my season review pre lockdown, I know we still have games to play but it’s over for us fans one day we will be back though.
