Exploring & match day in Valencia
Evening all,
I’m starting this blog 30 thousand feet in the air heading home, if I’ll finish it here is another matter!
And then I fell asleep!
So back to Wednesday, I woke up early and had an hour just relaxing and taking it easy before getting ready. We then went to get the tickets, well I couldn’t get in the building, what a surprise!
We then went and got some souvenirs I choose a pin & postcard my classic! Food was had and a wonder around the old town, it’s beautiful, but cobbley! I do like seeing the classic city rather than the main tourist drag! It was really warm 20c in mid December!
I then went for a nap, that old fatigue got me again!
We rolled / walked to the stadium. It took about 20 minutes and I got to see more of the beautiful Valencia!
Upon getting to the stadium we went round it, to see what it was like! Then we got to put entrance, unsurprisingly no united stewards as I was in the home end.
We entered to find I was to be separated from other 2 united fans, proper mixed in with the home disabled fans! Worse was my companion had to sit at the back of the stand!
So we ended up being moved to sit together at the front the three of us, after Andy spoke to the stewards! I won’t go into the game .. we lost!
Rashford came and clapped the disabled away fans, he was the only player to do so and so I tweeted him to thank him, I couldn’t believe he liked it!
We got back to the stadium and I was asleep before long well after the shock at seeing so many people liking my tweet!
