Welcome back to the Paris blogs!
So today we talk about how to get to Paris and how I’ve chosen to get to Paris!
The UK & Paris is really well connected you can get from most major airports in the UK to Paris with airlines such as British airways, Fly bee & easyJet and I’m guessing others too!
Paris has two main airports they are for flights to & from the UK they being Paris Orly and Charles de Gaulle both are in different parts of Paris so really depends where your wanting to travel to in Paris with your accommodation!
Flights mainly start from £50!
Top tip: always check on sky scanner to see the cheapest location to fly from!
The second option which people use is driving from the UK to Paris and to get other the English Channel you can either use a ferry or the Euro tunnel.
Prices vary but you can use club card points for these!
The final choose is Eurostar! Where you leave from st pancreases London or Kent, it’s a direct train to central Paris and takes around 2 hours! They often have deals so it can be from £29 each way to well more!
My plans for March
As you may or may not know when cities know united (and any other champions league team ) are coming to town prices rocket, so you have to be quick people!
I looked at flying but it was working out quite expensive for such a short 1 hour flight and I thought you know what it’s not worth it!
So I looked on Eurostar, which will also involve virgin trains!
So my plan is to get a virgin train from Birmingham (my nearest city) done to London and then head over to Paris on the Eurostar!
Now the thing about being a wheelchair user is it’ll cost  £29 each way much cheaper than flying! But it also means we will get a meal & drink and be in business class! Oh the excitement is real!
I am so looking forward to Paris now!
Next week we’ll look at accommodation in Paris!
