Hey guys
For my third match of the season I headed to my 2nd home St. Andrews home of Birmingham City! For blues v Bristol city! I was excited to catch up with the lads pre match and introduce them to Adam before heading to St. Andrews!
The thing I like about going to blues is I’m always made to feel welcome wether I’ve not been for 10 years or a season it’s just like one big hug going back.
As we headed off into Birmingham it only took us about 50 minutes but there was the inevitable traffic going towards the stadium. But still it didn’t take us long as a whole. Before I knew it I was with my mates chatting & showing Adam the stadium!
I was sat in the main stand for the first time ever! So that was a new experience for me, which means I’ve now sat in all 4 stands as I went with my grandad as a child, which is my link to Birmingham!
The game wasn’t too bad! Adam looked bemused by some of the chants by blues fans like when Bristol made subs!
The game ended 1-1 and Bristol scored late In the second half I went “typical blues that.” In truth though the team as a whole played well & I was genuinely impressed.
It was soon time to say goodbye to blues & my mates and head home via getting some food, well Adam had food!
Next stop was Old Trafford and my 4th game of the season!
