Hey guys,
So today I’d like to approach the subject of physical health and following united!
As you know I have rheumatoid arthritis and the new season is about to kick off! For the next 9 months ill be following my team up & down the country and I’m excited to get back at it with my friends.
However being realistic my health is affected at times especially in the winter months when my rheumatoid really flares up. I’ve realised that as long as I plan and take caution I can manage the flare ups!
So the day before I always try and have a restful evening and get some decent sleep!
The day of game, before leaving, I normally have some anti-inflammatory gel & painkillers and most importantly keep warm! I always have a blanket with me so if its cold or wet I can wrap up warm particularly my knees!
The day after a game, I simply have to rest up!
That’s basically how I cope with the match day travelling & sitting in all weathers!
