Hey guys,
It’s the final match day blog of the season!
I had got up early to have my meds before heading to my dads as its the central location! For the first time all season i had forgot my season ticket so had to go and get get them, i was still at dads on time though!
Although i did have a twitter discussion with Andy on whether wise to go for food that Neil was cooking or not! It was decided that it wasn’t worth the risk!
Today i travelled up with Martin, Jamie & shay! We stopped on the way up to get drinks and such!
I asked Martin his prediction 2-1 he said! Then i spoke to Neil who said 4-0 & sent me his season review and his ending was i can’t wait to have Ole’s team out there i totally agree with you, Neil! Ben said 3-1 and that he was having a few drinks with the lads! And Adam said 3-0 which was the same as me!
After arriving in Manchester and getting to the stadium after a short walk! I caught up with Liz and Morag and generally just chatted with Jamie & Martin! Suddenly Shay undid his seatbelt and ran to the food counter i think he was hungry & thirsty, we did laugh!
Just before HT Ben came down to see me and sat on Martin’s lap before he headed to get food & drink! We had a good chat & an end of season pic! Then Adam turned up and said hi to Ben and we all had another picture! Chatting away to the lads, it was lovely!
The game ended 2-0 to Cardiff.. Finishing this long season off with a loss. The players & staff did a lap of the pitch i was sad that they didn’t make a speech after such a long season, i think we the match going fans deserved a few words from the club a simple thanks for sticking by us would have done.
The journey home wasn’t too bad we was all chatting away well until I burst into tears!
Special mention to Valencia who leaves the club after 10 years, thanks for your service to this club and being club captain!
Also we bid farewell to Ander, thank you for your passion, your energy on the pitch, you was my favourite player! I wish you well for the future.
