It’s another Paris blog which we look at language and phrases!
As I’m sure you all know they speak French in France! But I thought a few helpful words & phrases would be useful .. I am sure no one needs to know how to ask for a beer though!
Hello – Bonjour
Thank you – Je vous remercie or Merci
Goodbye – Au revoir
Please – S’il vous plaît
Help me – Aidez moi
Hotel – un hôtel
Stop – Arrêtez
Where’s the toilet? – Où sont les toilettes
How much? – combien?
Where’s the metro? – Où est le métro?
Where’s the airport? – où est l’aéroport?
I’m lost – je suis perdu
Where can I get a beer? – Où puis-je me procurer une bière?
Where can I get food? – Où puis-je obtenir de la nourriture
Of course you will find a lot of people can and will speak English but a few words & phrases can go a long way! Most importantly enjoy Paris!
