Afternoon all,
It was time to say goodbye to Valencia! I was sad to leave, it was so warm and just nice to escape for a few days.
I stayed at the AC Valencia by Marriott it was lovely and the staff were so helpful and the bed was great as were the pillows, I had requested foam instead of feathers as I’m not keen on feather pillows! It was ideally located to the city and sightseeing and a 20 minute walk to Valencia’s ground. Only negative of course was it’s quite far from the beach so I never got down there unfortunately.
The city of Valencia is lovely and easy enough to get round being a wheelie and the people were helpful.
I slept well I hardly even moved! I was awake earlier than needed and then went back to sleep I was fully awake at 6.30am and waking up, before I knew it we was packed and ready Togo the airport.
It was raining hard as we left the lovely hotel held an umbrella over me while I was carried into the cab so I didn’t get wet, thank you!
Before I knew it we was at the airport early so just relaxed for a bit until the gate was called. I checked in my wheelchair and before I knew it we was through security and on our way. Food for my mate and before I knew it we was on the plane. Guess what I fell asleep and woke up in Luton!
I’ve never felt so cold! We got through the airport really quick and I was so happy to see the car park transfer bus was waiting for us. Once on a man started chatting to us, he was very posh and made me giggle!
The bus driver took us to the disabled area which was great!  The journey back was busy but ok! Before I knew it I was hugging the dog & cats, it was lovely to see them.
It was a proper cold night, but my cats kept close by I think they was checking I wasn’t disappearing again!
