Good evening!

The past few months I’ve been having trouble with my wheelchair seat as it’s ideal at the front and the height it great too but it’s what they called a structured seat, which means it like comes up on the side and hugs you!

So I’ve tried plain foam, memory foam, air, gel and foam pieces (think inside a teddy bear !) and none worked I’ve had countless appointments and waited for different cushions to be delivered too.

So today I had an hour appointment with a lovely technician from Worcestershire wheelchair services it lasted a whole hour. This lady I’ve met a few times and so felt comfort to tell her what was going on.

After more seats being brought over and a board for under the seat so it didn’t sink so much I still wasn’t comfortable and remember I spent much of my day in my chair it has to right!

So in the end she took my chair and sawed the edges of lol I wasn’t sure at first it seemed a bit dramatic but my seat was fine by the pressure points on my hip/thigh.

I’m pleased to report 5 hours later I’m still comfortable and I don’t feel as much pressure on the area in question!

Yay for me!
