My book arrived!
So you may remember my post about ordering from “blind date with a book” well on Monday I got an email to say it had been dispatched and then on Tuesday it arrived. As I arrived home it was sat in my post box (I have one on the wall because of my dog who has a tendency to chew post!).
After getting inside my brother removed the outer packaging to reveal the package ..
It came with a book mark to which is rather handy!
Then we took the paper wrapping & string off and I found out my book, I was excited to discover what it was!
As you can see it’s “the vintage girl” by Hester Browne .. the rrp was £7.99 on the book. I have never come across this book or author before so I’m looking forward to checking out the new author and exploring the story.
Ill report back on what I think of the book, it may not be quick as Winter is here and my hands hurt but I’ll be back with a review either way.
