Its Monday again, which seems the day i get my writing bug!
This weekend saw the start of the premier league, so i finally got back to football, my last competitive match was the Europe League final in Stockholm, which we won! My last trip to Manchester however was for carrick’s testimonial, which was a great day!
Friday and Saturday i literally binged football and there was a few shocking results, like Chelsea being beaten by burnley!
Sunday however was the day i got to go back to football!
I got up at my normal time 7.30am greeted the dog who decided to bark till he’d had his chew, he’s a funny boy! Then i was alone for a few hours so i caught up on some vlogs and generally chilled out. Before i knew it my dad and brother had arrived, so it was time to get ready, also get some cash out! Before i knew it the time was 11:15am and Andy and Steve had arrived and we was off, with the normal optimism for season opener. On the journey we had a few laughs about burgers being brought with no burgers inside! No disabled toilets being open after an arrival of 15 wheelchairs at an airport, oh how we laughed!
Once wed parked up it was the walk to the stadium, id forgotten just how bumpy those roads were on my knees! Id planned to go toilet in tesco after the lads had eaten but the lifts were not working and I’ve a fear of escalators since anderlecht lucky i wasn’t desperate!
We then met Shirley who was sitting with me today! It was an exciting day my first ever game as a season ticket holder, that hadn’t arrived in the post! I entered via the new entrance AE2 that was a new experience! I love my seat, and was lucky to get a new badge in memory of Stockholm!
I had a lovely chat with Shirley, said hi to Chas and met some of my Stockholm buddies!
The game went so fast we won 4-0 get in!!!
The journey home wasn’t to bad, having said bye to Andy and Steve it was time to get my meds and into bed, i feel asleep so quick!
Special thanks to my friends who checked i was OK after the match
Andy and Steve

Until next time
