After getting up I got ready and having more gel on my knees we got in my car. Andy then turned up and we went to meet up with Jamie who was at my dads.
When I got to dads waiting for Jamie I got to see Lenny my brothers young Labrador he was so excited he let out a cry!
Once Jamie arrived we decided to go via the m6 toll and then up the m6 however there was so much traffic that we came off the m6 at j17 and through Holmes chapel it was a little adventure, country roads an all! We parked up in our normal spot and then went down to Old Trafford, we missed the first 5 minutes thanks to the traffic but I don’t think we were the only ones!
The game was ok overall and a nice win 2-1 united leaving us top of the group and qualifying for the last 16 of the champions league! We took a slow stroll back to the car and then popped the heater on to warm up!
The journey home was quick in comparison and took us under 2 hours. We dropped Jamie back off at his car and picked my dad up. Came home andy helped me transfer and wished him happy birthday before he headed back to Kent!
I had a drink took my painkillers let the dog out and I was in bed! Well I sat up for half hour and chatted to a friend then I lay down and I was gone to sleep!
I managed 3 hours sleep then enjoyed listening to radio x with Toby Tarant and then Chris Moyles! I was disappointed to wake up to England loosing the second test though! Unlucky boys!
After getting up and having my meds I tried to relax mainly and had to have painkillers & gel on. I had a 2 hour nap though these trips are so tiring.
It’s the evening now and I’m still hurting from yesterday but of course I do it because I love united.
I intend on relaxing tonight catching up with friends.
