Evening guys,
Sorry this is a week late but I’ve had a bad flare up and I’ve been rather emotional.
Matchday day two took me to Man Utd v Leicester!
My prep began with a snooze so I could get some gel on my hip, once woken I had gel on my knees & shoulders and a painkiller!
Then it was time to get ready!
Once ready I went to dads where we met Jamie, who I hadn’t seen since May! Then it was up the motorway we left around 3.30pm …. arriving in Manchester at 7.30pm for an 8pm kick off ugh! Let me tell you the sat nav took us round country lanes!
It was great to see Ann Marie, Helen & dax onthe platform, even got a smile from the people who were next to me .. I still don’t know there names!
The game started well with a pen for captain pogba! And ended with a goal for Luke shaw!
At the final whistle we made a quick exit back to the car … we got over the tram lines fine then my two front small wheels both caught in two separate pot holes. Which sent me falling forward thankfully my core strength is good and I managed to stay in my chair, there was a collective relief! I think it shock Jamie up though!
Before we knew it we was back on way through chortlton and heading for the m6, where a caravan didn’t let us on the motorway and we had to apply breaks coming to a standstill .. it was going to be a long trip.
Eventually after a stop for hot drinks & toilet we were on way towards stoke. Traffic was building and we got chucked off the motorway, hello stoke on Trent centre .. then stone … we got back in the motorway around Stafford.
We then carried on and the m5 was closed so ended up going through wensbury and Dudley and oldbury! Before we knew it we was back on the m5 and heading for home. Dropping Jamie off and then heading home with dad.
We left Manchester at 10pm we got home at 1.40am
What a day …
Vicky xx
