I can’t quite believe it’s that time again for football. It’s like seeing an old friend yet this season will be different a break before Christmas for the World Cup. A World Cup year, a winter World Cup at that!
Sunday Man Utd kick off at 2pm against Brighton for the first time I’ve actually brought parking in advance!
It’s a new era at old Trafford with Erik At the helm I’m sure I’ve said that a few times since I started blogging! I really hope we have found the manager for this great club.
I’m in my second season up in the Stretford end, it’s a mixture of feelings I like being with my fans but I equally miss the community in the east stand but I definitely don’t miss the away fans!
My hope for this season is that I enjoy the season, find relief from football that I use to.
I hope to make new memories & make new friends.
Am I ready for the season not a chance I’ve not even got my season Hat, I’d like to get one I always have a new hat, I need to find my scarf out too.
I don’t envisage doing many aways this season maybe a few anxiety dependant.
I hope to carry on with my euro matches I love a good European away, exploring cities! Seeing European fans in there home stadiums is also an experience.
I’m a football lover seeing stadiums in full voice with fans chatting & singing enjoying that 90 minutes will always give me a smile.
I hope to catch up with friends too some I’ve not seen since the pandemic started.
Here’s to 22/23 season enjoy your season with your friends and club!
Have a great season
Vicky xx
