Match day 6 – united v palace …
Hey guys!
Match Day 6 OMG! How am I 6 games into this season already! Today was united v palace!
My match day was so different! So I started my day off in Chorley! It’s a long story ill explain one day! I was wearing a dress, I know shocking but id forgotten my sandals, gutted! So I tweeted about it and wearing my trainers in truth my confidence was a bit low. Anyway I spoke to Lauren on Twitter and she made me feel more confident so I rocked my trainers! Anyway it was a short trip to Manchester stopping off for ice cream!
On the way down I spoke to Andy who was experiencing lots of traffic on the motorway. After checking in to a hotel at salford queys (I’ll tell you about hotels in the next few blogs). It was time to head into Manchester!
We took a cab and I had a great chat with the lad who gave some good advice when using taxis, as a wheelchair user.
We headed to Barca bar in deansgate. Against my better judgement with time constraints. But it was good to see a group of reds in the sun having a sing song. We met lots of people, too many to name but was good to meet you all.
Next stop was cobbles! What a nightmare ended up having to go on my two back wheels! Trying to get a cab was a nightmare we eventually got one and was soon on our way to old Trafford!
You may notice I hadn’t spoke to anyone that was strange for me! Anyway neil text me the next day with a prediction of 3-0 to united! Let’s see what happens lol
As we got to old Trafford we went to get Adams program, I still haven’t got one! Then inside we went! I picked up a team sheet, spoke to Ann Marie & Jamie.
It was so hot on the platform! At half time we went down in the shade and caught up with Ann Marie, Sophie, Helen, Jamie, shay & Lenny! We got a soft drink before heading back out to the platform.
The game ended 2-1 to palace with a late minute winner.
After the match we had ice cream! Then walked over to the hotel the quays were lovely in the sun it was a decent walk or roll as it may be!
Next stop Southampton away, well let’s hope so with my current infection
