It’s a rewind blog!
We went on our first dog friendly break! As ever we didn’t pack light! We travelled to the Yorkshire Dales.
We stayed in a small rural cottage with views of the three peaks!
Olive loved it she made her self quite at home while on the sofa & bed! She wasn’t keen on the night when it was dark she woke us up at 6am!
We loved the log fire it made the cottage so warm and cosy and ole didn’t try to do anything to do, apart from run off with the heat glove!
I was so excited to visit the Wensleydale shop & factory, I’ve always liked cheese it was great to visit & even go into a shop!
We drove and explored the dales finding two castles that were closed in winter! Adam & Ole walked down to see a beautiful waterfall the pictures we’re beautiful.
The next day was a full on day! We visited ingleton on our way out. First we drove to skipton and Adam went and took pics of the castle as it’s not accessible for the wheelchair especially in winter! We then visited Harrogate that looked lovely but we couldn’t park, then a brief stop in knarsborogh where ole went and got a treat & biscuits in pets at home! We then headed for Wetherby and I tell you I fell in love! We visited the race course & the river ole made a friend with a young pup!
Sadly it was pretty cold, I mean what do you expect for winter! We can’t wait to visit again in spring / summer to better explore!
Until tomorrow
