United v Villa!
Afternoon!
So we are going back to yesterday and a small matter of a football game at Old Trafford!
I was in the morning waiting for some parcels sadly they didn’t come & had to be delivered to neighbours. I ended up going back to bed at one point as I was in a lot of pain with my rheumatoid but I was determined to try & meet up with my mates. Which brings me on to Neil who text me his prediction a 5-0 one at that, optimistic but I went 4-0 so I was no better!!!
I was glad my friends were in a different pub to the original planned one as it’s more of an outside venue and it was freezing! Although upon arriving & parking the car we made our way to the entrance only to discover two large steps, not a great start! Adam went to see if the other door could be opened instead rick came and between them lifted me into the pub, I joked to rick least I’m light!
Upon getting inside I was greeted by, Ben, Mike, Katie, Lauren, Andy D & woody! It was good to see everyone and it was so warm! I had a chat to Lauren who predicted 3-1 and said she was 3rd on the prediction leaderboard and that rick was 1st!
I also had a chat with the others and had a lemonade with my friends. That’s when it all went a bit odd.
The plan was that Katie & Lauren we’re jumping in our car to old Trafford. So about 3.45, we said we had to leave as Wed miss the kick off otherwise. Everyone else had started to leave. Katie showed us a flat exit. So we went towards the car at that point the girls were behind us. By the time I was in the car they were gone! We drive across to the pub & I rang Katie who said to just go and they’d be ok. I said are you sure? She said yeah mate. Now I didn’t like leaving them but she assured me they’d be ok.
So we went to the game. I saw our club DLO briefly. It was absolutely freezing I ended up in the ability suit freezing my hands off, I couldn’t feel my feet! I saw Ann Marie & Helen briefly but didn’t catch Mef but saw Omar!
The game ended 2-2 and to be honest, it was shocking, but I mean let’s focus on the positives!
It was only 22 minutes to get home & I tell you it was good to get home in the warm!
The night was spent cooking pulled pork & crackling ill tell you about that, I might even do a food blog. Mix it up!
The good news everyone made it home at points during the night/morning! There are many questions from yesterday some may never be answered ha! The main question though is when are Neil & Matty coming out with us again ha!
