Match day blog – wolves away PL
Hey guys,
It was off to wolves away for the second time in so many weeks and we were all hoping for a better result!
I had spoken to Neil earlier in the day and he went in with a 3-1 prediction he was optimistic and that’s what I like to hear! Let’s hope he’s as optimistic next week with Barcelona!
I didn’t need to leave til later so had a relaxed day well I slept all day being honest as I’m not well with a migraine and ear ache, I actually have an ear infection but that’s just one of them things!
I had been chatting to Adam and stressing as Jamie was running really late! I also spoke to Andy who was already at wolves!
Jamie eventually arrived with the road closed between our houses so he had to come the longer way, what a pain! Then we was off! Up the m5 to j2 and then through Sandwell and bilston eventually arriving In Wolverhampton at 7.33!
We rushed out the car and made our way to the stadium nearly getting took out by traffic but a nice police officer stopped the traffic for us to cross! Then a police van was on the other side turning and well made the cross a bit harder! We was chatting to the officer down to the ground!
We got into the ground and Laura wolves DAO kindly helped us find a seat as you could sit anywhere. Then the game literally kicked off! Laura also came round at HT to ask if we was ok and give us a free hot drink voucher, it’s the little touches that make you feel welcome at away ground but equally thought of.
We went 1-0 up through Scott however we could have easily scored a couple more, the players just weren’t clinical enough and very frustrating!
Ben had tried to get down at ht but couldn’t get through the stewards! So he text and we had a chat although I looked right instead of left haha! Good to see you as always! We continued our chat through the second half!
We lost again!
Jamie doesn’t like wolves and went for a quick exit on full time after another loss! Let me tell you that hill is a nightmare with a wheelchair! It’s all fun and games though! We made a quick return to the car! Ben had got back to his hotel so I knew he was alright and before Long I was home and Andy was on his way home he’d reached Northampton!
By the time I got home I had my meds and was just chilling with the cats and chatting to friends.
Talking of friends I’m really lucky to have some good mates who look out for me at games as a regular at matches & a female it’s good to know you have friends around you, so big shout out to the lads you know who you are.
With that i shall sign off, the next match day is next Wednesday the big one Barcelona!
Vicky xx
