Friday morning came around so quickly, I hadn’t slept well but was up at 7am ready for an exciting couple of days!
My brother finished packing for me and then we was ready Togo and pick dan up at 8:30am. By the time we got to international the trains were a mess so had to get back in the car after paying £12 then off to central Birmingham. Where apparently my WAV is higher than we thought and hit the top barrier! Working out the ticket machine, lift was a bit odd, no assistance booked as not my station. My brother helped me use toilet then he left. The lovely guys at new street took me & dan down to the train and got us on and we were off!
We arrived in Manchester later than anticipated but meant we could check straight in, more info about  the room later. Dan hung his suit and my dress up and then I took dan on a mini tour around the stadium and then up to red cafe for lunch! We saw chas in the north stand reception and waved hello!
We then went back to the hotel I had a lay on the bed and rested before leaving. I forgot to take pics of the room but it was an accessible twin room, Manchester Old Trafford premier inn. It was a good size my wheelchair could get around fully, only two plug sockets though! The bed was a really small single and very hard and the pillows very soft not ideal. The bathroom was a good size with a shower chair provided.
I had asked Stacey if her mum could come and help me get my dress on which she did thankfully and I was soon ready to go. We then went across to hotel football bar where we meet christelle and her husband Ian, we then left for the Manchester suit.
The annual dinner was great, having Ryan Giggs there was lovely and a great Q&A. Andy arrived eventually and we all enjoyed food well I enjoyed watching them! It was a prawn starter, I am not eating solid food and Dan can not eat them so Andy and Ian ate ours and there’s! Then the main course was steak and mushrooms, tomatoes and a large roast potato andy and Ian had 2 each LOL i can tell you that enjoyed it! Desert was sticky date & toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce and ice cream, Dan had two servings! We got pics of us with the trophies too!

At the end we went back to the hotel and I waiting while Christelle and Ian’s Uber arrived and then Andy helped me get dressed and into my pjs! I then went into the bar for drinks with Ann Marie, mike, dan, Helen and Sophie the later I meet for the first time that day. We chatted and before we knew it it was getting on for 1.45am
I didn’t get any sleep I was so uncomfortable so I was sat up by 7am and ready for the day. My joints were really hurting me so I asked if Sophie would help me get dressed which she did, thanks Sophie.
We packed up and gave our stuff to the premier in til after the match then Sophie & Helen was happy as they’d got a call back!
We got over to Old Trafford it was a cold and wet day, I ended up going inside at 70 mins as I was feeling really anxious after an incident and cold too.

The next few hours were trying to find someone to help. We saw Helen and Sophie and said goodbye , then a man who was drunk fell on me and really hurt my legs. Thankfully the staff at the premier inn came to help me and gave me water.
We couldn’t get a taxi for hours we eventually got one and just made our train, the journey home was packed and long, seeing Birmingham was a relief then we had to get another taxi back to Worcestershire!
With special thanks to MUDSA for a great night.
